Westons Basic Scone recipe:

Ingredients:

                                                   Kg

XL Scone Mix                           1.600

Water                                      0.900

Egg                                          0.425

Total                                        2.925             Yeild : 20 scones @ 140g

Method:

1. Place all in a mixing bowl using dough hook and mix on slow speed for 40 seconds.
2. Remove dough from bowl and roll out 1 1/2 cm thick.
3. Cut into scones using a 6cm round cutter.
4. Place on baking trays.
5. Rest for 10 minutes
6. Bake at 230C for approximately 12 minutes
