Westons have designed a range of slices in our own test bakery especially for our customers who want easy to bake, great tasting slices. Our slices are different in that we use our own products known as XL sponge mix and hedgehog mix. Two pre-mix products we find are becoming increasingly popular due to their versatility. Try out one of our slices recipes below, and see for yourself!

1. Stage one: Cream butter with paddle. |
| 2. Add the rest of the ingredients from stage 1. Blend with the butter using a paddle. |
| 3. Mix until dry. Ingredients are blended. |
| 4. Spread over full size baking tray, and use a rolling pin to flatten the slice evenly. |
| 5. Spread Jam(Stage 2) evenly over the base mix. |
| 6. Mix all the ingredients in Stage 3 together, until blended evenly. |
| 7. Place Stage 3 ingredients on top of Stage 2 (jam), and spread evenly. |
| 8. Make-up the Devils food cake(Stage 4) mixture, mix until food cake mix is thoroughly blended. |
| 9. Place Stage 4 on top of Stage 3, and spread evenly. |
| 10. Bake slice at 180C for approximately 30 minutes |
| 11. Allow to set and then cut into specified pieces. |
