"The Weston Milling trainee of the year competition 2008 is commencing this year, representing all baking and chef patisseries. The competition assists trainees to further develop their baking skills, and encourage future trainees to pursue their baking careers.
Already, there has been a huge amount of public interest in the competition, and sponsors are looking forward to receiving large amounts of entries. The winner of this unique competition will own the title of the " Weston Milling trainee of the Year 2008," and will no doubtfully bring a tremendous amount of experience into their current workplace/bakery or tertiary institution. The prizes, totalling up to the value of $14,500 include, mentioning from industry experts for a year, a scholarship, hands on experience in all three Weston Milling mills and 2 well established bakeries. Travel, industry recognition, mass media coverage, trade show appearances, and a two night accommodation and dinner package for two.
