Weston Milling has fun at Otahuhu Family Day!
On 5th March 2011, Weston Milling proudly sponsored the rock climbing wall and the jumping castle at Otahuhu Family Day, in support of the community and our commitment to the Kids Can project. The day was fun filled with community sports, cultural activities, competitions and more...It was great to have Weston Milling in the eyes of the local community, a big thanks to our employee volunteers who made the day a special event and to some who even participated!
Weston Milling Mid-Winter Xmas
On Friday 13th 2010, the Auckland Weston Milling team put on a mid-winter Xmas lunch for all staff to enjoy, and our special guests! Why? Simply because we care about our people and our community.

In conjunction with the New Zealand Police, and their Blue light community programme, we invited 5 kids from the surrounding schools to join us for a mid-winter celebration. It was a huge success! Nando’s provided some yummy lunch, Santa surprise visited us from the North Pole – in August! And from the kindness of our hearts, the staff donated some great gifts for the kids. These kids are from various South Auckland schools, whose backgrounds have been tough, growing up in families from violence and crime. Nonetheless, these kids have excelled at school, and so we invited them to encourage them to continue in their studies and join in on the mid-winter Xmas fun at Weston Milling!
We had an abundance of gifts from the Weston Milling staff, too good to just give away so these we also donated and well received by Barnardo’s. Barnardo’s is a successful organisation who holds orphan houses and finds families for our orphan children.
Thanks to the Weston Milling team for a wonderful day!
And the support from the NZ Police, to make this event possible.
