The Process of Flour Milling

Flour milling is the process where wheat is converted into flour in order to produce products as bread, biscuits and cakes. At Weston Milling, we stake our reputation on our flours and our capabilities to be world class. Our millers are technically trained and are highly-qualified graduates of the City and Guilds of London Institute (NABIM).

Technology also plays a major part in the milling process. Our mills range from semi-automated to fully automated plants. Regular tests are carried out in order to ensure that our grains fall within their specified guidelines.

At Weston Milling, we produce special flours for every baking need. Our categories range from biscuit baking, pastry and cake mixes to ethnic bread baking and wholemeal variations where grains have been specifically combined to produce different bread, cereal and biscuit products.

Our finished products are supplied to a wide range of businesses ranging from the corner bakery store through to large biscuit and bread manufacturers. For Weston Milling, it is important that every customer receives the same excellent service and high quality product in order to meet their own specialised needs.
